Connect to the internet via cable

Wired connection

In most rooms you will find an ethernet socket. You can connect a device whose MAC address you have registered.

In some rooms this is not the case. Please read the information you are given on sign-up.

If you want to connect devices wirelessly or multiple devices via cable, you will need your own router. You can find more information here.

You can find the MAC address of your PC/laptop like this:

  • MAC OS: Apple icon → About this MAC → Overview → System Report → Network → LAN → MAC Address
  • Windows: Right click on network icon in taskbar → "Open Network and Sharing Center" → Current Connection → Physical Address
  • Windows console: Win + R → type "cmd" and press enter → type "getmac /v" and enter → physical address under Ethernet
  • Alternatively for all devices: After registration, all connected devices are displayed here. You can copy the MAC address of the desired device from there.
